Does Bible say the earth is flat?
Would either of you be so kind as to provide Scripture that says so? Thanks. The simple answer is yes.
"Isaiah 40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:"Would either of you be so kind as to provide Scripture that says so? Thanks.
That passage (obviously) does not say the earth is flat. It does say that the earth appears as a circle, which it does when looking at it from space."Isaiah 40:22 It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:"
Circles are flat.
I don't know what "arguments" you're talking about. You said that the Bible says the earth is flat. I've read the Bible cover-to-cover about 10 times in my life and have never seen a passage that says the earth is flat, so I'm wanting to know where it says that.If you already know the arguments why are you asking?

Anything else?

Some say the Hebrew word translated as circle can also be translated as sphere:

This raises the question: Why do the translators of modern translations of the Bible still use the word circle, or choose the word compass or horizon instead of the word sphere?
For the sake of argumentamums I sink!If you already know the arguments why are you asking?
The Scriptures says that the earth is round:
"It is he that sits upon the circle of the earth" (Isaiah 40:22)
The word translated "circle" here is the Hebrew word chuwg, which is also translated circuit or compass (varying on the context). It indicates something spherical, rounded, or arched not something that is flat.
