Romans 2:13. For not the listeners to law are just with God, but the doers of law shall be justified.

James 1:
CLV.
22 Now become doers of the word, and not only listeners, beguiling yourselves."
23 For if anyone is a listener to the word and not a doer, this one simulates a man
considering the face he inherited in a mirror;
24 for he considers himself and has come away, and immediately forget what kind he was.
25 Now he who peers into the perfect law, that of freedom, and abides, not becoming a forgetful listener,
but a doer of the work, this one will be happy in his doing.

(James)
Be doers of the word<ginomai de poietes logos
You must be doing what The One who placed you intended(logos).

(Paulos)
Ephesians 2:10. For His achievement are we, being created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God makes ready beforehand, that we should be walking in them.

Analysis: James here employs a word three times to reject false teachings arising
from the misrepresentation of Paul’s teaching.
And yet, in March of 2020, I sign on to Christian Forums, and find believers arguing these points as if Paul and James were at each other's throats doctrinally.
In Truth, they are in perfect agreement.

Conclusion: We are all what became of Adam. In The Son [logos theos],
we are all becoming what The Father intended.

(Paulos)
Romans 8:28, 29. Now we are aware that God is working all together for the good of those
who are loving God, who are called according to the purpose that, whom He foreknew,
He designates beforehand, also, to be conformed to the image of His Son,
for Him to be Firstborn among many brethren.

The bible clearly tells us what God expects of us. He provides grace to help us conform to his will, but he won't stop us from rejecting his will.
