I UNDERSTAND WHY this is happening, for in the bible in Mat 24 we all have been warned that in the last days we will be seeing such upheaval...But I hope that true Christians are NOT in the middle of the leftist thinking...but if you are....do you think that these haters have a point in their hate and why?

There have been a heck of a lot bigger upheavals during the last 2000 years than a bunch of Americans grousing about their president.

But I hope that true Christians are NOT in the middle of the leftist thinking...but if you are....do you think that these haters have a point in their hate and why?
I'm not remotely a leftist, but I don't like Trump. I think he's an ignorant, misogynistic, xenophobic, easily manipulated, narcissistic conman, and probably a criminal many times over. Doesn't mean I hate him, though -- it just means I think he's a badly damaged human being and a terrible president.

I can't stand Trump but I think its unfair. When the news starts saying hes unfit to be president because he put ketchup on a steak... you know theres something wrong. Seems like very desperate people hating him. I mean can I not run for office because I put ketchup (and butter) on my marinated steak?

NO - it isn't fair. Some do everything they can to keep Trump from getting anything done, and then they complain that he isn't getting anything done. As Christians, we should be praying for our President every day whether we like him or not. There's a few things about Donald Trump that I don't like, but overall I think that he's really trying to do a good job. I'll add that he's gotten a lot of good things done.

You seem to think that you can't be individual and liberal in your thinking. Your predetermined attitude is shown by the phrase "leftist thinking", as though that is incongruous with being a Christian.

Don't you think it's possible to disagree with the President without being hateful? Or are you just being swayed by alt-right propaganda? (See, it can work both ways!) He has done a lot to make most people disagree with him and lose respect for him.

1) He has the lowest approval rating of any President since they started the polling.
2) He has shown himself to be dishonest over and over and over.
3) He has made derogatory comments about many, many people, including but not limited to: the Attorney General, the former Director of the FBI, the Special Prosecutor, all of whom have committed their lives to justice.
4) He has made derogatory comments about the American Press, calling them "the enemy of the people".
5) He has revealed code-word-protected top secret information to our historical adversary: Russia.
6) He and his family (plus Paul Manafort) have met secretly with Russians to corrupt the American democratic process.
7) He is sexist. His attitude toward women is and has been insulting and disgraceful.
8) He is investigating pardoning everyone who may be convicted of the crime of colluding with Russia, including his immediate family and himself.
9) He is being advised by Steve Bannon, a hateful ideologue of the alt-right movement, whose avowed purpose is the destruction of the modern state.
10) He has already been convicted of several crimes, including fraud.

This isn't hate,these are facts.

The news never said any such thing. Your source of that information is lying.

Lots of regulations repealed that were strangling business would be many. One great one is a Supreme Court appointment that will benefit us for decades. You might be in opposition to these changes, but I like them. There's more that he's promised that I like, but maybe you don't (i.e. the wall, repeal Obamacare).

When the news starts saying hes unfit to be president because he put ketchup on a steak..
The media was reporting what Some were saying....
Some said that it was just another sign of his immaturity. Why did they think he was unfit....because he behaves immaturely in other ways that are important.

I can say I don't have any problem with this one and agree that he may be good for the nation. That is left to be seen by his future decisions.

What regulations on business has he repealed that will be good for the nation. Please name one or two.

I'm not in opposition to anything that is truly for the good of the nation as a whole. If it's good for business, it must not be bad for those not in business or it is not good for the nation.

The hate in itself is not fair because it is misdirected. Not that Trump shouldn't be the target of the hatred, but people are finding the most irrelevant crap to hate about Trump just like people hated Obama and many others over, and likewise the same for their supporters.

Sexism is an irrelevant charge. Racism is an irrelevant charge. Religion is an irrelevant charge. The only charges that actually matter are about actions (and by proxy, their campaign promises that they inevitably wind up breaking).

Why do you think that those who disagree with Trump are "haters"? That sounds like Trump-style propaganda: if you disagree with me that is hatred of me. Perhaps he thinks that way because that's all he knows.

I have wondered about the term “True Christians”. When I was growing up in the 80s, “True Christians" would never vote for a person that was divorced several times and makes his money from gambling and the other sinful activities that occur in casinos.

I believe that if someone shows such bad character in these things, as well as bad character in the management of their business affairs, than they should not be in such a powerful position in the US or in the world.

So principles are irrelevant?? Sexism is derogatory to half the population. Racism denigrates people because of their skin color. If religion is irrelevant, why is there a "Muslim ban"? (the President's own words).

There are laws at the highest level against discrimination based on race, creed, gender, etc. So charges about discrimination, including hate crimes, are extremely important. Do you remember Trump mocking a man with a disability by acting like someone with palsy?
