  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

LT, I did ask him, and he said he's not sure why he hasn't, but he should have, and he apologized for not doing it sooner. Sincere? Who knows.

And Crystal, he keeps telling me that I'm beautiful now, so... :more shrugs:... I can't shake the "desperate and guilty" vibe lol.

I don't know if its ever too late to apologize. Though, I don't understand it, and his thoughts on this. I hope he has the courage to explain himself, and whats going on.

Ethnog's right though. I don't believe it's ever too late to apologize... but sometimes it can be too late to apologize and not have any lasting ramifications of those actions that require the apology to destroy an existing or potentially good relationship. It may not be too late for him to apologize, but it may be too late for him to have a chance with her.

Well, he might be nice and good and all that jazz, but if he isn't INTERESTING.. like, if he can't keep my mind engaged and impressed, then it's just not gonna happen. He'd have to be super-nice, super-good, and super-handsome to keep my interest if he lacked intelligence and wit I'd rather be with an average-looking genius any day.
