Do you believe the dead are conscious?

I used to believe they were asleep until my mom died and I had experiences myself. The Lord allowed me to see her so I could be at peace.

Very beautiful experience. Just from the New Testament alone moses appeared to Jesus, Jesus was alive and well before his ascension. Lazarus and the rich man-- so many examples.

Actually, I think of our brain as being a biological hard drive and our mind being the data.
Those who have NDEs have witnessed the doctors working on them. They are hovering above the activity with the senses of sight and hearing. So, it's very likely that we are conscious after death.
