I noticed a few really nasty comments to this person's question. I moved my conversations over to here because I was tired of all the irresponsible and nasty comments left by the general public. I have noticed a trend that is really getting out of control. It is easy to say nasty things to someone when you are not face to face with them. Would you call someone stupid or dumb to their face? Perhaps the original post was on the questionable side but if the person had a valid question why would anyone attack them. We do not know the intentions of the person or what they are thinking. Have you ever had a question you wondered about and just wanted to ask and had someone call you out because of it? If the person is being wrong hearted then let God judge them not you. If you can't answer the question nicely then why post? I was really hoping that I found a positive place to talk to people but perhaps I made a mistake. Where are the moderators on this site? If you did not like the post you could have simply explained the process of "confessing" in a nice manner and stated that this idea was hurtful to others or yourself and should be cleared up with the person who miss informed the original poster. By getting nasty you have made yourself look worse than the one who may have just been asking a valid and honest question. As a disabled person I do not like to be talked about badly or asked what I felt were insensitive questions but have had to tolerate it from the public and have learned that some people's questions, though they may sound uncaring or mean, are valid questions and they just asked in the wrong way. Ask yourself WWJD if someone asked this question. Would He slap them upside the head and say look here stupid or would He lovingly take that person's hand and tell them the truth of the matter. You know the answer to that! I hope to see some apologies as we are all proclaiming to be Christians here and need to act the way Jesus and God intend us to. I would like to stay here and get to know some people as I am mostly home bound and can not get out and socialize due to my illnesses. But if I see comments like those I mentioned I will move on and find something else to do with my time. Hope you can all put your anger aside and work to make this world a better place one person at a time. Love each other for goodness sake. This world is already against us as it is and we definitely don't need to be hurting each other or anyone else for that matter! Besides, you never know when you might be entertaining angels! God bless you all.

Welcome to CF. And those are some very good points you have made. I did not read the other post you were referring to, so I can't say that I knew the OP's intentions. As for this post, the OP made it clear that he/she was being mean and cruel regarding mute people. The posts they made containing the clearly hateful comments have since been removed. I don't say that to validate anyones treatment of the OP, just to let you know that what we may be dealing with here is what forums call a troll. Someone who deliberately tries to start arguments on threads. But you are right, as christians we are to treat others as we would want to be treated.

God bless you.

If the person was acting this way is there any way to block their user privilege if they do not apologize and stop doing what they are doing? I have run into these type of people numerous times when I have asked for help in trying to deal with my illnesses. These people are horribly cruel and when you call them out on their behavior you are all of a sudden the bad guy and the moderators will not stop them. It is as if they and others think it is funny. Believe me it is not. If there is anyway I can help please let me know as I do not like to see anyone hurting others in order to have fun or make themselves feel better. Sorry I did not understand the whole situation. I just did not like the negative comments left by others. Maybe when this happens everyone could bombard the troll with "Stop posting hateful things and if you can't, we wish the love of Christ for you and hope that you will change your ways." If they do not stop then maybe a moderator could take their user rights away. Maybe we could stop this behavior one troll at a time. We might even be able to start a posting area that is called the (Troll list) or something of that nature so we can all become involved in stopping this ever growing population of negative and nasty people.
