Just because some one has an incorrect perception of
how future events will play out does not change who the God they believe in is.

How can the God of the modern jews be the same as the God of the Christians, if the Jewish Talmud says that Jesus is a false prophet? The Talmud is very blaspehmous towards Jesus too. It's not just the Old Testament that the Jews believe in-they believe in all sorts of writings by rabbis that are not inspired by God, and are just manmade traditions.

perhaps a fresh reading of the book of hebrews will be beneficial to you

well, we kind of covered this already..
they don't need to believe/accept the modern terminology of the trinity(its not a scriptural word) as they already,in their language, allow for the multifaceted nature of Elohim .the very hebrew word for God,is PLURAL already. so they are ,in some ways more familiar with the nature of the "God head" then many Christians.
when many christians say "God" they think "him-singular" and struggle to comprehend when the lord Jesus says "i and the father are one.

but when the hebrew speaking jew says GOD..they are effectually saying both -him AND them- at the same time ..so when they come to recognise the lord Jesus as the messiah..they do not struggle with the two being one.

point is..they believe in the God of Abraham and abraham is the father of all those saved by faith.. Abrahams God is the one true living God....the God of israel IS the Christians God and only true living eternal GOD.

What about the fact that Jews reject not only Jesus being God but also the concept of the Messiah dying for sins (which the Old Testament mentions). Correct me if I'm wrong, but Jews believe the coming Messiah is a political figure and not God incarnate who dies for the sins of humanity. They have a totally different view of God's nature than what Christians have. That being taken into consideration, how can the God of Judaism be the same as the God that Christians today worship?

They just can't see as much of God as Christians can since we are assisted by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Their view of God is through the cloudy lenses of history and law. Our view of God is much clearer.

If people say that other monotheistic abrahamic religions (Mormons, muslims, etc) worship a different god than Christians because they dont believe in Christ's divinity and believe in a false version of Jesus, how can you then say at the same time that Jews worship the same god as Christians? Jews believe Christ was a false prophet-their view of Jesus is no more biblical than other false religions.

The Creator God that true Christians worship is NOT the same god as what the Jews, Muslims, etc worship. Just look at their fruits, it's obvious. Thing is, it doesn't matter what they claim they believe, what matters is their fruits, since that tells you who they truly believe in.

Matthew 7:16-20 King James Version (KJV)
"16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Jesus said to deny the Father is to deny him. (1st John 2 23.) Knowing that, how can you say Jews worship the same God?

Jesus was a Jew. He worshiped and teached in the Temple. He taught from the Hebrew bible. Your 1 John quote is like the way a Progressive treats the 1st and 2nd Amendment. They not only insist on a literal interpretation of the 1st, but they expand it greatly to the point of creating this "separation of church and state" and that there is a "freedom of expression" clause that covers inappropriate contentography. But, then they move to the 2nd and refuse to literally interpret that, deciding on their own that it is much more restrictive than the language of the amendment says.

So, they claim to follow the Constitution in both Amendments, but they deny what one of them says and add to the other.

In the 1 John quote, it does not say that those who deny Jesus do not believe in the God of Abraham. It only says that they deny him, which is to say that they disagree with what he has done (in the form of Christ).
