Hmmm..interesting article, though it's an opinion piece by Cindy Sheehan. Though one must wonder, is it really true the current Presidency gets a free pass using the same tacts the previous adminstration had?

I don't think it's as bad as the McCarthy era, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Sadly, and as much as it disgusts me to say it, stuff like this will happen under every government.

When was the last time you saw war protesters on tv infront of the whitehouse?

When was the last time they disrupted a senate hearing?

They got obama in and now they are ignoring that he's just picked up where bush has left off.

The current administration's decision to perpetuate some of the worst abuses of the past administration is certainly disappointing to those of us who pinned our hopes for a return to national dignity on President Obama.

On the other hand, some of us feel kind of petty for criticizing the administration's lack of progress on some fronts in the face of the tremendous strives they have made in other areas.

But on the third hand (I've often wished that I had a third hand) I don't care who is in the White House. I don't want my nation involved in torture. Ever. And I would very much like it if we could all have our 4th amendment rights back please.
