a couple years ago people in the state of Alabama got tired of their legilsture and govenor refusing to remove the states anti- miscegenation laws from the books so they forced a public referendum. 40% people voted to keep these laws on the books.
Most people who go around yelling Black lives matter don't go to places like Alabama and yell it, they go to some of the most liberal cities in the country like Seattle, Portland, Oakland etc. and yell it there; back home they used to call that "preachin' to the choir".

They sure don't yell it in Chicago.

Did you forget the fact that your post was about unemployment?

Lol no....are you unaware of the connection between low-paying degrees and unemployment?

your original position is dependent on the notion that there is a consistent meaning

So there isn't a consistent meaning?

We all knew the answer....it's just good to see someone admit it.

,,,albeit it is a meaning you made up.

Oh no....no sir, I don't make up answers that I can just Google. I can show you a variety of explanations for "defund the police" from a variety of defund the police advocates.

In fact, I'm pretty sure this has been done multiple times on this forum since summer 2020.

Here's one source that gives multiple examples:

Different definitions of "defund"
"Defund the police means many things to many people," said Arjun Singh Sethi, adjunct professor of law at Georgetown Law School.

At its most basic, "defund the police" means reallocating money from policing to other agencies funded by local municipalities. Advocates are split on the question of how far it should go: whether to reduce funding and reform some aspects of policing, or completely abolish police forces as we know them.

I sorta scanned over the article a bit and it doesn’t seem to address some major questions. They say Defund the police means to reallocate resources from the Police to other agencies that can handle situations other agencies can handle better. They use example of replacing the Police gang unit with a community based organization that addresses violence to deal with the city’s gang problem. My question would be; are these community based organizations that addresses violence going to be armed? If not, who is going to provide security to prevent them from getting killed? If the police, then there needs to be an increased fund because not only do you have the same police, but also the cost of the community based organization dealing with the problem. And if we are to believe everybody immediately become racist against blacks the minute they become police officers, what makes you think they won’t become racist the minute they become a part of this community based organization? If they have professionals deal with people having a mental health crisis, are the police going to provide security for them too? This all sounds like an increase in funding; not a decrease.

even a low paying job is not unemployment and despite your attempts to misdirect the truth remains that:
Whites with a high school diploma have an unemployment rate of 5.8% and blacks with a high school diploma have unemployment rate of 12.4% which is incidentally higher than the 10.1 unemployment rate of white high school drop outs
Whites with a bachelor degree have an unemployment rate of 4.7% and blacks with a bachelors degree have an unemployment rate of 9.4%
Whites with a masters degree have an unemployment rate of 2.8% while blacks with a master degree have an unemployment rate of 6.5%

But there is absolutely no racism

We will need the evidence that this is due to racism.

Typically, they're unemployable former gang members out of prison and they use their street wisdom to squash beefs before they become violent.

Apparently, they want to take money from police for this.

If not, who is going to provide security to prevent them from getting killed? If the police, then there needs to be an increased fund because not only do you have the same police, but also the cost of the community based organization dealing with the problem. See above.

You aren't wrong.

I think people are taking defund the police too seriously. It's not a real solution. BLM originally had a long list of demands and wishes that looked blatantly ridiculous...defund the police was one of them.

The other one popping up now is "black autonomy" or "black self determination". Essentially, total political and institutional control of segregated black communities. It's not the sort of thing you can just get support for right away....so it's going to follow slightly less unreasonable and undemocratic agendas....so they can justify what they are without anyone realizing it immediately. Black separatists/ethno-nationalists.
