I noticed that in the updated Faith Groups list, there are some different "types" of Catholic faiths that were not listed before. They are:

Byzantine Catholic
Celtic-Catholic
Melkite Catholic
Traditional Catholic
Ukranian Greek Catholic

I hadn't heard of these until recently - can someone please tell me a little about them? Thank you!

I think the Celtic Catholics are a break away group, similar to "Old Catholics"
the Old Catholics broke away from the Catholic Church in the 1800's they reject the teaching that the Pope is infallible in specific confidences

Byzantine and Melkite are Eastern Churches, they keep the traditions of the Eastern Orthodox but they recognize the Pope as the head of the Church

"Traditional Catholics" are Catholics who espouse the entirety of the Catholic religion as believed prior to the Second Vatican Council and its subsequent distortions of the Catholic religion it engendered and was used as a catalyst to cause. In short, they are normal orthodox Catholics who reject modern Liberals attempts to waterdown or supplant the Catholic teachings of the Church with weak un-Catholic doctrine or quasi-universalist wishy-washiness.
