• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

A man needs to do a tiring compulsion. He tries to ignore his ocd but he cant. Due to frustration and while being carefree, his system suggests him to have thoughts without his will about promises to an other God about not doing the tiring compulsion. In a second, these thoughts pop up and the man maybe acts as if they matter in order to trick ocd. He feels relieved because he is forced not to do the compulsion. Sometimes, he accidentally, does the compulsion and ends up worrying if these thoughts without his will that relieved him were 100% without his will. He decided to control himself better, and never allow these thoughts without his will that relieve him because he ends up worried. Sometimes, he knows his system will suggest him to have thoughts without his will about fake promises to an other God and when these thoughts without his will pop up, he prays to an other God to tell Him that they are without his will. Some other times, he is carefree and even though he knows that he ends up worried in the end, he does not pray about these thoughts without his will and feels relieved and forces himself not to do the tiring compulsion. He reminded himself many times not to allow these thoughts without his will to relieve him or not seem as if he acts as if these thoughts without his will maybe matter because he knows that he may end up worried, if he accidentally does the compulsion. but he always fails. he tries to control himself but he fails. it is like as if he forgets about the future worries, and he maybe acts as if these thoughts without his will maybe matter in order to trick his ocd. maybe it seem as if he allows the thoughts without his will on purpose. He always ends up confused. sometimes, these thoughts without his will are automatically, accompanied with scary thoughs withouts his will about punishments. he tried to forget them because he knew these scary thoughts without his will, will give him worries. he has prayed many times and told to an other God not to accept promises and to protect him from these thoughts without his will. Why that man always fail to control himself? why it may look like as if maybe his thoughts without his will are maybe made on purpose for some seconds? he just wants relief and tries to force himself out of a compulsion. are his thoughts without his will valid or not?
