There is one CRITICAL fact that is being TOTALLY ignored in all this discussion.

Joe Biden not only admitted, but openly boasted about, having done EXACTLY what President Trump is being accused of having done.

Having decided to run for office did not exempt Biden from investigation of a CRIME which he BOASTED of having committed.

And Hunter Biden, the son of Joe Biden, admitted on TV that he had zero knowledge of the energy business, and did not even know the Ukrainian language. Then he admitted that it was probable that the only reason he got the $80,000+ per month "job" with Burisma was because his name was Biden.

It is insane to even pretend that there was something even slightly improper about the President asking for an investigation by the country in which these CRIMES were committed.

That's simply incorrect reasoning. The whistle-blower would know LESS about the Biden accusation ... than he does about Trump. What would anyone expect the whistle blower to know about the Biden accusation ?
There have already been investigations into the actions of the Bidens concerning Ukraine ... which have found them (the Bidens) innocent of any wrong-doing.

Now we are investigating President Trump ... and his actions concerning Ukraine. The result of these investigations are yet to be seen ...

Each witness has had impeccable knowledge of their own testimony.

Their testimonies are only threads in the quilt of the eventual body of evidence which will eventually be utilized to determine whether to charge Trump with articles of impeachment.

This is a blatantly false statement. There has been NO actual investigation of the Biden family corruption.

Biden was acting in full compliance with the US stance concerning corruption in Ukraine. Anyone with an ounce of sense would have to conclude that Biden could not have accomplished his mission without the authority of the United States government. And it is clear that such action was in accord with official US policy ... and, it just so happened to be, the policy of the US economic partners in Europe.

Everybody wanted the corrupt prosecutor gone ... except for those who wished to continue with their corruption.
Happens everyday ... and is not illegal. There is an ethical judgement call to be made regarding whether the children of the rich and powerful should be able to benefit from their parent's success. In our capitalist society, we apparently have decided that such a thing is something to be tolerated. And so, Ivanka Trump, Don Jr., and Eric Trump all reap benefits from their father's name.

Ivanka gets favored patent status in China, ... as well as a role in the nation's government ... (same for her husband).

Don Jr. has his father hawking his book ... and he and his brother Eric, have also had their economic statuses benefited by their father's name.

Trump and Mulvaney both confessed it occurred. That's not third party. The 2nd call transcript proves it occurred. The testimony from Taylor gives the timeline. It occurred, the only thing left is will the Senate vote to impeach or sell the Constitution out.

From Wiki ... Hunter Biden - Wikipedia

"Ukrainian prosecutor general Yuriy Lutsenko said in May 2019 that Hunter Biden had not violated Ukrainian law. After Lutsenko was replaced by Ruslan Ryaboshapka as prosecutor general, Lutsenko and Ryaboshapka said in September and October 2019 respectively that they had seen no evidence of wrongdoing by Hunter Biden."

From ... Hunter Biden 'did not violate anything,' former Ukrainian prosecutor says

A former Ukrainian prosecutor who investigated a gas company tied to Hunter Biden said Thursday that there was no evidence the former vice president's son engaged in illegal activity.

"From the perspective of Ukrainian legislation, he did not violate anything,” Yuriy Lutsenko told The Washington Post.

Lutsenko, who served as Ukraine's prosecutor general from May 2016 until last month, closed the investigation into the gas company Burisma and its oligarch owner in 2017, The New York Times has reported.

The meetings with Giuliani were referred to in a bombshell whistleblower complaint unsealed Thursday that alleged that Trump had pressured the Ukrainian president to investigate the Bidens.

In May, Lutsenko told Bloomberg News that his office had found no evidence of wrongdoing against Hunter Biden or his father, Joe Biden, who'd helped to oust Lutsenko's predecessor.

That prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, had been accused of failing to act in numerous corruption cases, including the investigation into Burisma. In addition to the United States government, the European Union and the International Monetary Fund have demanded that Shokin be replaced.

On Thursday, Lutsenko said he did not know of any Trump administration officials going to Ukraine to investigate the claims against the Bidens.

“No American groups came to Ukraine for an investigation,” he told the Post.

Lutsenko added that whatever wrongdoing there might have been at Burisma took place before Hunter Biden joined the company.

“Hunter Biden cannot be responsible for violations of the management of Burisma that took place two years before his arrival, Lutsenko told the Post.

Former Ukraine prosecutor says he saw no evidence of wrongdoing by Biden

Yuri Lutsenko, the former prosecutor general of Ukraine, at an interview in a Kyiv cafe on Sept. 28, 2019.

    KYIV, Ukraine —

Ukraine’s former top law enforcement official says he repeatedly rebuffed demands by President Trump’s personal lawyer to investigate Joe Biden and his son, insisting he had seen no evidence of wrongdoing that he could pursue.

In an interview, Yuri Lutsenko said while he was Ukraine’s prosecutor general he told Rudolph W. Giuliani that he would be happy to cooperate if the FBI or other U.S. authorities began their own investigation of the former vice president and his son Hunter but insisted they had not broken any Ukrainian laws to his knowledge.

Lutsenko, who was fired as prosecutor general last month, said he had urged Giuliani to launch a U.S. inquiry and go to court if he had any evidence but not to use Ukraine to conduct a political vendetta that could affect the U.S. election.

“I said, ‘Let’s put this through prosecutors, not through presidents,’ ” Lutsenko told The Times.

“I told him I could not start an investigation just for the interests of an American official,” he said.

The revelations are at the heart of the House impeachment inquiry into whether Trump improperly delayed congressionally mandated military aid to Ukraine while urging leaders there to help find dirt on his political opponents to boost his 2020 reelection bid.

Lutsenko said he met Giuliani twice in person and had numerous conversations with him on the phone. He described the former New York mayor as obsessed with possible misconduct by Biden or his son Hunter.

Both Bidens have denied any wrongdoing, and no evidence has emerged to suggest they broke U.S. laws.

Yes, the phone conversation occurred. The democrats called him on it.... not expecting him to release the transcript... To their shock, he did just that..

So, they cherry picked it and put sentences together while parsing and removing large portions of it.. to create a disingenuous document that people, who believe only what they are told... fell for.

Since then, they have been trying to get oil from a water well... in search of anything... they committed themselves and now they are a comedy act.

Really? so, you know more than the gentleman in the video? Seriously....

He has a point. For what other reason would you NOT put the person who has first hand knowledge of an event up as your key witness? It's just plain baffling.

Why is the person who started all this hidden and gagged?

If his words and evidence was solid... they would have him front and center..

NOPE... they DO NOT want him exposed or talking....

Biden simply accomplished the task that he was assigned. That's what he was bragging about.

Or ... do you think that a US Vice-President has the unilateral power to deny assistance to foreign nations ? The role of the US Vice President is to support the administration of the president. Could Biden have done otherwise ?

The Bidens have already been cleared of wrong-doing. The speaker in the video, Rand Paul, who, incidentally, is the son of Ron Paul, is merely SPECULATING that the whistle blower has knowledge about any possible Biden corruption.

You can't start an investigation based on speculation, ... else I could have my neighbors investigated based on my SPECULATIONS about what might have occured in their households. The US Constitution and Bill of Rights protects US citizens against such random invasiveness.

If, however, one has EVIDENCE which points to possible wrong-doing, then such an investigation may be warranted.
The whistle blower does not have first hand knowledge of anything, though other witnesses do. He's merely the one who pulled the fire alarm.

We now have much better evidence than what the whistle blower offered. There is no point to his testifying ...

No they didn't expect him to and he didn't realize how damning it was. A quid quo pro deal isn't illegal unless it's involves an illegal act. In this case it constituted bribery and a violation of the emoluments clause of the US Constitution. IOW, "I will let you have aid if you give me what I want". Mulvaney confirmed it on live TV. Sonland confirmed it in a revised testimony session.
The comedy act belongs to the idiots the GOP put on the committee and to Trump who just can't shut up. Any defence attorney worth anything will tell his client to stay quiet but Trump just won't listen.

you are correct, infact, President Trump being a LAW ABIDING CITIZEN probably disqualifies him from holding any public office.

The reasons for his impeachment are simple:

-He defeated Hillary based on the electoral college, and the Democrats are bitter.

-The Democrats threw there election hopes behind the Mueller Report, and it provided them with nothing of substance.

-The President has been investigated at least three other times, and nothing has been found, and the Democrats have done no other business of substance since regaining the house.

-The President does not kiss their feet, or, give them homage, he see's them for what they truly are, and it scares them.

-The Presidents policies make sense, unless you are to far to the left, in which case nothing makes sense.

The way the Democrats are acting will backfire at the polls, and President Trump will be reelected, because it's all about the economy, and the Democrats have nothing to offer there.
