Mmmm...

Please explain what you meant...

Seriously I see a deviation from the classical definition of temptation.

To tempt means to entice to evil.

Jesus was subject to such enticement i.e. He was tempted. This does not mean He sinned - rather He resisted the temptation He was subject to.

The true definition of temptation does not carry over into succumbing.

Succumbing to temptation is a sin, being tempted is not.

You cannot recconcile the act of the devil tempting Jesus and Jesus not being tempted at the same time?

Lets say you hated almonds and coconut. You are led by the Spirit to be tempted of the devil (but he is trying to tempt you with Almonds and coconut) you resist the devil (away from me Satan).

Were you tempted by the devil, or was the devil tempting you with what you cannot be tempted by?

The devil is "the tempter"
We are to pray, "lead us NOT into temptation"
But Jesus is led by the Spirit "to be tempted" (of the tempter/the devil)
So was Jesus being tempted? absolutely, by Satan (the tempter) it says he was led up "to be tempted"
Did the devil (the tempter) who was tempting Jesus succeed? No, Jesus was not tempted because every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
Lust did not conceive to bring forth sin in Jesus Christ, tempted at every point as we are but was without sin.

You were tempted by the devil but didnt succomb.

Temptation is being done to you it is not something you do to yourself (unless it comes from you own unredeemed flesh) - that would be sin.

Jesus did not have an unredeemed flesh so all His encounters with temptation came direct from without.

Jesus was not tempted to fall down and worship Satan, although Satan tempted him to it

We have an unredeemed nature to deal with - Jesus never had one. Original sin He bore on the cross - He wasn't born with it.

Jesus did not have an unredeemed flesh so all His encounters with temptation came direct from without.
What do you mean by ‘unredeemed nature?’ You've used this expression at least twice and it's not in the Bible.

The word ‘nature’ is usually a translation of the biblical ‘physis’ (G5449), which can refer to:

  1. The nature of things, the force, laws, order of nature
    1. as opposed to what is monstrous, abnormal, perverse
    2. as opposed what has been produced by the art of man: the natural branches, i.e. branches by the operation of nature
  2. birth, physical origin
  3. a mode of feeling and acting which by long habit has become nature
  4. the sum of innate properties and powers by which one person differs from others, distinctive native peculiarities, natural characteristics: the natural strength, ferocity, and intractability of beasts

Folks seem to be struggling with the amphibology going on here. LOL.
Glad you get it.
And your post#75 explains it perfectly.

Despite the efforts of people trying to tempt me, I have never
been tempted to...[insert horrible disgusting thing here]

That is simply another expression describing what Paul called the flesh when he spoke about the war inside of us between the spirit and the flesh.
This is a combination of original sin and our own selfishness.

If by the Spirit we are putting to death the deeds of the flesh we will live...

When this process is complete we are fully redeemed.

Sorry but that is a contradiction -

Jesus resisted the temptation to fall down and worship Satan, Satan tempted him to it...

You believe Satan tempting Jesus to fall down and worship him was a difficult one for Jesus and that he was actually enticed to do so when he opposed the idea and told him Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve?

The one who created Satan is contemplating the idea of worshipping his creation?

I don't think this is theologically correct, Carl. The Lord Jesus had our nature. Whether you call it fallen, unredeemed, or fleshly, He had it all as the following verses show:

Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do since it was weakened by the flesh, God did. He condemned sin in the flesh by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh as a sin offering,

Php 2:7 Instead he emptied himself by assuming the form of a servant, taking on the likeness of humanity. And when he had come as a man,

1Jo 4:2 This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming; even now it is already in the world.

Heb 2:16 For it is clear that he does not reach out to help angels, but to help Abraham’s offspring. 17 Therefore, he had to be like his brothers and sisters in every way, so that he could become a merciful and faithful high priest in matters pertaining to God, to make atonement for the sins of the people.

It's not only a matter of selected verses. Jesus is fully God and fully human. This is what all Christians believe. If He was lacking a part of the human nature, then He was not our Brother and we could not relate to Him.
