It was kind of like that poster of Seinfeld's Kramer: "He's a loathsome offensive brute, yet I can't look away!", Lawrence Welk made me feel like something was wrong with the universe, that people could whistle and smile winningly at the same time. Somehow seems like a crime against nature!
