I just assume that most people aren't going to fight back when the government decides that it's going to overstep it's boundaries because it's been doing that and nobody has decided to rise up and fight back yet-- as it's easier to "go along to get along"
Someone pointed out that people didn't need to fight because they trusted the institutions to step in. However, the radicals have since taken over most of the institutions and through them are influencing us. This is why people are organizing against public schools and libraries.

I had no idea that they were. Public schools are by far the worst because I knew when I was forced to go to one that the only reason public schools exist is to squeeze every last vestige of creativity and free will out of children and indoctrinate them into being obedient workers. This is why, if your child shows any amount of willpower against the indoctrination, they label them a "troublemaker" and do the best they can to make their life a living hell.

Libraries I had no idea about at all. They never struck me as being particular vectors for the socialist justice movement, but they're a lot like public schools in how they're funded and operated, so I could easily see it. I dated a girl that worked at a public library and she was one of the ones who was sobbing when Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump in 2016.

I think it's nothing but conspiracy theory bunk contrived by taking something said well out of context. Read the article I posted to see what I mean.
Or you could read their books in full and see it isn't out of context.

The libraries have mostly thrown out their books, at least around here. I used to dumpster dive and pick out sets worth hundreds behind the libraru. Nothing valuable or useful at the local public libraries.

Ours still have a lot. I've noticed that they've got more books about wiccan hokus pokus nonsense than they do books about Christianity now though. As well as a lot of biographies of liberal heroes like Hillary Clinton and Barak Hussein Obama along with Mark Bray's "The Antifa Handbook".

Although in their quest to be seen as impartial, they carry pop-conservatism books by Ben Shapiro and others. The books that will of course tell you to "always be obedient even when the government is wrong" and to just "make sure that you vote" as if elections aren't going to be fixed from here on out for the democrat party and far-left candidates.

The majority of the reason why libraries exist down here though are so people can access the internet and rent movies. The notion of people going to the library to borrow books that will enrich their mind is pretty much out of the picture down here now.

EDIT: I've wanted to start a loaning library program in my parish that has books on spirituality, the lives of the saints, copies of the catechism and stuff. Not really sure how I'd get that started or if we even have the space for it.

Here is one example of why parents are outraged at schools

Yeah, like half the books seem Wiccan. Every section, even the cooking section has a lot of Wiccan material, but nothing Catholic, hardly anything Protestant, and I doubt even a reference to the EO can be found.

Yeah, like half the books seem Wiccan.

I think it's because a lot of libraries tend to hire feminists and they're the ones that order the books since actual librarians are few and far between these days. None of my libraries, as far as I know, has an actual librarian working there; it's usually uppity younger women with glasses and purple hair who aren't even in possession of a library science degree and of course, they order the books and then stock the shelves with Antifa and other leftist garbage, so naturally there aren't going to be any books about Christianity because Christianity is a "white" religion and therefore, oppressive. But they can load the shelves down Robin DiAngelo's "White Fragility" and other books that only purple-haired young women are going to care to read.

At our libraries, the system is all self-check out so the human interaction is kept to an absolute minimum although I think that they still require you to wear masks, so I haven't gone in a while... that and I have a lot of books to read here at home.

“Floridians are free to choose — and all Americans should be free to choose — how they govern their affairs, how they take care of themselves and our families, and they should not be consigned to live — regardless of which state in the union — consigned to live in a Faucian dystopia in which we’re governed by the whims of bureaucratic authorities who care little for our freedom, little for our aspirations and little for our happiness,” he continued. “No more. We can’t let it happen going forward.”

Americans must never be ‘consigned to live in a Faucian dystopia,’ DeSantis declares - LifeSite

I agree with him.. I have to say I have noticed in so many threads facts are nothing more then what you agree with. Twitter and Face book wow do it all the time.. and there is nothing what so ever you can do about it. But I agree its shocking .. you wanna ask "can't you see where this leads to?" Its as if they want you to focus one so and so.. look at my right hand.. forget the left hand. Biden has a 8 trillion spending plan.. had that in his first 2 months. How much was spent so far? The lack of knowledge is astounding. You can't just pull money out of thin air. But maybe they know just don't want to face it..just care about now and forget about our kids, grand kids.

Don't know what we are disagreeing on.. with what was said. I am not for more lockdowns.. I am not for more school closures etc. We know that does not work. Do you see it stopping any time soon? For us where we live.. things are not cheaper now. Everything is going up... not because of this virus. So do you like what your seeing right now? There is still over 3 years left. We need a change in 2022. FOR THE PEOPLE not someone you personally like or dislike. For the PEOPLE. Each one of those people have rights like you and me.

So for what was posted.. yes I agree.

We need a change in 2022. FOR THE PEOPLE not someone you personally like or dislike.

I honestly don't think that will ever happen again. The elite class does not want it and will not allow it. Despite the fact that I think he was a reprobate, Trump generally did a decent job as president. While he was in office, I was working full time, had money in the market; he could have done more to deal with the far left like Antifa and BLM, but a president can only do so much I suppose.

Biden on the other hand, he's deteriorating by the day and the party honchos don't know what to do: Whether to remove him via 25th Amendment and put the remarkably unlikable and unpopular Kamala Harris in as president or continue to let him deteriorate in front of the world. Obama can only pull his strings so much, he can't actually get a third term (praise God) but if Biden is visibly deteriorating, Obama doesn't have much that he can do with that.

I don't think that a FOR THE PEOPLE candidate will ever happen again though. The closest we got with that was Trump and he was still sort of beholden to the actual power structure, which is I believe, why he did nothing to deal with Antifa and BLM last summer (The people actually running the show, the corporate executives that Clinton gave government power away to in the 90s, didn't want that). Furthermore, I think that all elections from here on out are going to be rigged to make sure that the elite class stays in power. It isn't hard for them to do it, it's not like the media is going to expose any of it as the media does what the democrat party tells them to.

And today, the fascists are celebrating as they evermore tighten the noose around America's neck.

Get used to it, unaccountable bureaucrats like Fauci telling everyone what they have to do is America's future. The elites have figured out that if they can't outright rig elections with the help of the media, that they can render elections meaningless by turning the actual power over to people in the bureaucracy. It worked wonders in Europe. After all, all of the major decisions that affect the lives of the Europeans are made by unelected, unaccountable people in Brussels, Belgium.

Nobody seems to care though. Nobody is doing anything about it because they don't want to be labeled as "insurrectionists" or "white supremacist terrorists". So Antifa and Black Lives Matter will continue to terrorize our major cities and anyone standing up against them will be railroaded. If BLM wants to smash up your business or break your car window, just consider it the price you pay for having White skin.

And today I learned CF Mods will threaten to ban you for linking Lifesite News articles.

What? Why? I mean, LifeSite news isn't really my favorite but some of their articles are good. Why would CF ban you for linking to their articles?

A lot of liberal democrats call it fake news. Social media platforms like Facebook censor lifesite. It sounds like CF is following in their steps it that's the case, which I fully believe because they were always up my rear for many years for ever and I mean ever talking about the truth of liberal democrats.

Well how that works is that eventually certain websites are going to be forced offline because you won't be allowed to share stories from them. It's a roundabout way of enforcing censorship by the handful of big tech companies that essentially own the internet now and are eventually going to force you to use them or you won't be able to access the internet at all. It's because these types of sites report things that the power structure doesn't want reported, and the government realized that they can't outright censor news so they just outsourced the job of censorship to private companies because "private companies don't have to follow the constitution". Basically, there's a particularly garbage organization called the Southern Poverty Law Center and their entire job is to call alternative news sources and entire websites "racist" so that FB and Twitter will have carte blanche to restrict them from being shared on their platform. The SPLC also calls traditional Catholicism "racist" from what I gather.

I don't use facebook, twitter, or instagram but I'm well aware that eventually these are going to be the only websites that you're allowed to use or you won't be able to access the internet at all. We really are heading for a fascist future in America. I never thought in my wildest dreams that private companies would be policing speech and censoring news, but then again I also never thought that grown men would tell people that they are "women" and we would be required to believe them or risk being called "racist".
