2 Corinthians 1:24. Not that we have dominion over your faith, but are fellow workers
for your joy; for by faith you stand.
Regardless of the individual church or denomination, the elders of the church have as a
stewardship to establish all the body of Christ in His Kingdom of Righteousness, Peace,
and Joy in the Holy Spirit. [Romans 14:17]
During these trying times, in what ways has the Church succeeded in this mission,
as a testimony? How can we improve going forward?
Nehemiah 8:10. Then he said to them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet,
and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared;
for this day is holy to our Lord.
Do not sorrow, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.
Without the Joy of the Lord, we are operating in our own strength and vulnerable.
Be encouraged In Joy.
John 16:24. Until now you have asked nothing in My name.
Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.
Acts 13:52. And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.
Prayers and Thanksgivings:
Romans 15:13. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in trust,
that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Colossians 1:11. Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power,
for all patience and longsuffering with joy.
1 Thessalonians 3:9. For what thanks can we render to God for you,
for all the joy with which we rejoice for your sake before our God.
Hebrews 12:2. Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
