And you are missing my point. Just because a few versus seam to match what is going on doesn't mean the rest will. We haven't heard the angel's trumpet. And the details don't line up. It is talking about sea's, not rivers. Where is the huge mountain, all ablaze? That hasn't happened yet, nor has a third of the seas turned red.

You are reading to much into something that has happened throughout history and claiming it is the end of days. That is like saying because the sun went behind the moon, there will be eternal darkness forever.

Thanks!

Now let me proceed with my theory on Revelation:
(I will not refer to the things that happened in the spiritual realms, I will be referring to the real events that would be happening on earth).

The Trumpets

1. Wildfires (Burning of plants/vegetation)
2. Red coloring bacteria, Tannin/algae (Bloody seas)
3. High Sulphate levels (Wormwood)
4. A cosmic event (no clue which one)
5. The After effects of the Cosmic event (wild guess)
6. The volcanic emissions (Sulphur gases, smoke and fire) depending on the levels of each one of them most are known to be fatal.
7. (A heaven event)

Therefore, considering that people still witness wildfires, some have had a bitter taste in water, the volcanic emissions wouldn't be clearing a village for the first time... it doesn't mean things will be getting better. I think the sun will continue to expand and there will be more heat and the greenhouse effects in a hundred years to come!!!

As I said, the earth is getting tired and God just pulled the PIN!!!

Seeing how three of those happen all the time through history, I don't see any of them happening as the foretelling of the end times.

They are not fortelling end times, they describing how the world will end!!!

Anyway, it's true life will become extinct whether we believe in Revelation or not!!!

These signs are synonymous to a delivery room event. Contractions do not necessarily mean the baby is coming immediately but rather a baby is on the way. The contractions increase in frequency and intensity as the baby is about to be born. However, even though the contractions are familiar it doesn't mean the baby isn't coming out!!! Dig???

Maybe, maybe not. Species go extinct, but all life on the planet? Doubtful. More likely that humans will die or move off planet before all life goes extinct. And at this rate, I give us 50/50.

Yes, that is what it says. But what doe sit mean?

There's nothing metaphoric about this,
It's Revelation.
It's apocalyptic symbolism.
There's everything metaphorical about this! What it describes might be regular, but terrible, natural disasters, so I'm with you there. But the very nature of this genre of literature is completely symbolic. EG: "A third" does not mean 1/3, but "more spared than were harmed." It's a measure of God's grace that everyone isn't wiped out as in other bible events of the past.

The cycle of the signs have been changing every now and then but as we get closer to the edge... it should increase in frequency/intensity/.
Is this a theological statement or scientific statement? Are they increasing because of something you see in the bible, or science?

You don't have to be a genius to note the climatic changes have been on a wild rage of late.
Yes, but that's to do with anthropogenic climate change. We're doing that to ourselves. And as Romans 1 shows, sometimes God hands us over to the consequences of our actions as a means of judgement.

There are more earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, drier spells and cold spells, bla bla bla. Does it seem that earth is kinda getting too old to hold everything in? She's getting sick of man!!!
It's our duty as thinking Christians to glorify God by trying to protect His creation. After all, it is His, not ours, and He loves it.

Okay, Most of Revelation is symbolic in nature but removing the symbols it becomes easier to see the real Revelation. This is not to say, the "unseen events" such as the blowing of the trumpets, angels adding more fire to the sun or anything in relation to all this, is irrelevant. As you say, most of it is a measurement of God's Grace to man and the other is, "He's fed up!!! Like really fed up" so he let's the earth loose and everything else. The locusts and all the other creatures mentioned in the book are indications of God letting everything else that could go wrong just go wrong.

Therefore, from a scientific point of view, Revelation is consistent with processes associated with the death of ecosystems and the death of a star (the sun that is) and as you progress further into book you will see that being the case (Revelation 16). So on one end, God has a lot to do with it all by letting things be or letting "Mother Earth to do as she deems fit" as well as the universe (if that makes sense at all). The wiping out of stars and striking of the sun and the moon (is more of a universe Fading Out) and it's just the end of everything. If I were to be asked, He just wrote how he brought everything into existence and how he will wipe everything out of existence. MAN! I wonder who saw it coming?
