What’s the actual story here? He took a cautious approach - maybe more of a Chamberlain than a Churchill - but it’s easy to pass judgement with hindsight. It’s not like he did nothing. Trump has been in power over a year and not only has he done nothing to tackle the proven interference, he’s blocked attempts others have proposed. Why is that? Whatever Obama did do would have been judged harshly - if he’d revealed this at the time Trump fans would have been screaming even harder for his death (no exaggeration - just read some of the insane FB posts directed at Obama and his family)

It appears that Russian meddling was known of several months (not years) before the election, and the DOJ were hesitant to make it public for reasons that make a lot of sense.
