Project 2025 is about political control of non-political parts of government and it is filled with Trump "alumni" and people announced for the upcoming adminstration. (Lest you think it is not connected the Trump admin.) Do you want crime statistics to be based on accurately reported data, or do you want politically appointed officials altering them to advantage the president? Do you want drug approvals to be based on effectiveness and safety tests or do you want them based on political criteria (like campaign donations).

You are worried about constitutional judges but have no concern that there are far too many liberal judges who view themselves as political operatives to ignore the constitution in favor of liberal ideology.

Instead you are concerned about judges who wish to stick to the constitution.

No Trump didn't try and overturn an election.

He sent fake electoral votes to several swing states. He also tried to force the Justice Dept to falsely announce that fraud had been found so he could overturn the election.

Trump left. He didn't kill anyone, he didn't bring in the military to keep him in office he didn't do anything except ask that a certain part of the democratic process be invoked.

He allowed the insurrectionists to continue their attack and expressed hope that Pence would be killed.

Again, that doesn't mean they are being distorted for political reasons (or distorted at all). I personally see no reason to doubt or trust the crime statistic more or less no matter what administration was in overall charge of DOJ because they are prepared by non-political, non-partisan DOJ/FBI employees. That is what I don't want to change.
