Indeed -- we put the women in charge, and either they do a better job, meaning the world improves, or they prove to be just as capable of being corrupt and incompetent as men, which is a great leap forward for gender equality.

This is the problem and scary thing:

Back in the 60s, the Second Wave feminists argued that women and men have fundamental differences--and that society needed those differences reflected in all areas. Their argument was for a better rounded society with women counterbalancing men.

Today, feminists are arguing that there is no difference between men and women and are, actually, attempting to become exactly like the men of the 50s and 60s.

They are emulating male behavior instead of being a counterbalance to it.
