Wait. I thought Trump has totally taken care of that now. What has he been doing for 2 years? ....it seems you are ignoring the 2018 mid-term results. Independents and those Republicans who held their nose in 2014 and voted for Trump will not make the same mistake in 2020 (and that is my opinion informed by 2018 results in here in the West and in key states like Pennsylvania). The Republican Party has a choice 2020 - run with a candidate who in the words of his trusted attorney did "dirty deeds" - or find a challenger.

I think the last thing that would be welcome in a thread like this would be discussing, say, the recent polling and results from the mid-terms. People have to work with what they have, as you can see by this thread being a straight up guess rather than anything based in fact.
