• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

Before you involve yourself make certain that you can defend yourself against the culprit. If he believes you can be another one of his victims, he won't hesitate to make you a participant. There are instances of the victim siding with the abuser against the person injecting themselves into the cycle.

I think staying out of it and simply calling the police is the best bet.

Is mace legal to use in your State? Some jurisdictions ban it.

I would call the police and if nothing is done, which is often the case, I'd write times and dates in a notebook documenting the various incidences that you were witness to. perhaps with enough documentation, this abuser could face repercussions for his behavior.

If the guy has prior convictions, felonies and certain misdemeanors can legally deny him the use of a firearm. But he doesn't abide by laws anyway. Be careful.

Protect yourself first but then call the cops every time. Have the neighbors call the cops every time. When he finally kills her the prior abuse will be well documented. Or maybe you may just save her life.

Talk to the other neighbours and set up a watsap group so you can co ordenate responces and protect each other.
As already mentioned keep a diary of events and if worried always call the police and never leave your house to appear to interviene..

If you know any cops, ask them for advice, but basicly stay out of it and call the police/ambulance etc.

In future events, do call the police. You have a right to quiet. I was an apartment building manager for a few years. We were not trained in morality, spying, or police procedures. When the resident drug dealer kicked prostitutes out into the hall naked, I spoke to him about guests not being escorted in the halls was a safety issue. I gave him a warning about it happening again and disturbing the other residents. He was more careful from then on.

Take them both to small claims court and sue for the maximum damages. Last I checked it was $4,500 but it could vary by state or jurisdiction. You have a right to peace and quiet so that you can enjoy your property. It would be no different if they were playing loud music. Document when and how often the police have come out and this will be good evidence to support your suit. The police aren't dealing with the problem so you are resorting to the courts to seek redress. Whatever you do, do not get involved in a domestic dispute. That is what the police are for.
