"Deism" origianlly was "Christian Deism". In a real sense, God does NOT machinate the entirity of the World. Did God cause the concentration camps of Nazi Germany? Certainly not.
But "Deism" has come to mean a religion that denies the deity of Jesus, that man must approach God on his own, BY HIS OWN GOOD WORKS. That kind of "deism" is certainly not Christian...
