Eternity is not a measurement of time; you would need eternity to measure it!

I think it fairer to say eternity is the fullness or the absence of time.

Of course eternity is a measurement of time. It is the greatest possible measurement of time.

For example, say you had an object that weighed 300 million tons. Just because you have no possible way of measuring that directly on a scale, does not mean that 300 million tons is not a measurement of weight.

Eternity is a temporal measurement by definition.

Yes, but eternity is infinitely more than 300 million tons. It is not quantifiable, not measurable, boundless.

Temporal measurement? I guess I would grant that is related to time.

Actually, it is quantifiable. Eternal means forever, forever is a quantifiable measurement of time.

Temporal measurement? I guess I would grant that is related to time.

Of course it is.
