A simple thread, is there any place for extreme subgenres of metal in Christianity?

I've listened to some good Christian death and unblack metal in the past. I came from only listening to pagan death metal and God blessed me with the Christian bands after I was saved. It's a light in darkness. Some of them are good, some aren't. You have to listen to the lyrics and the content to see whether it's truly dedicated to Jesus Christ or not. And not let it become a stumbling block to others.

It's a band name...
Politically, I guess you could define it like that.
But we serve Jesus Christ as the King of His Kingdom, right now on Earth and later on the New Earth and Heaven.
Don't get too hung up on words.

I used to listen to some Christian folk metal. It was Ukrainian though, I think, so I don't know if the lyrics were any good...I have yet to hear any Christian grindcore or folk-metal
