De-nuking to begin very quickly: President Trump

Fox News is reporting that of the 55 sets of remains of the war dead from the Korean war only one contained dog tags. The remains in other boxes will be subjected to forensic analysis and DNA testing in the hope of identifying the war dead. Many families have already shared the DNA samples of their loved ones with the Pentagon. I'm praying for this painful situation to be resolved soon and request Christians to do the same.

CNBC is reporting that Stephen Biegun, a former Ford Corp. executive, has been recruited as the President's special representative for the North Korean talks. He brings with him a wealth of experience in both the corporate and diplomatic world's. He was the foreign policy adviser to the former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. May the Lord richly bless his efforts to foster peace on the Korean Peninsula.

CNBC (and Reuters) is reporting that Chairman Kim wishes to completely denuclearize by 2021, before the President's first term ends. South Korean President and Chairman Kim will be meeting in Pyonyang from Sep 18-20 to discuss practical measures for de-nuking. Seems to me that our prayers are being answered. If it works, the President may be due for a Nobel Peace Prize. Praise the Lord .

Wall Street Journal is reporting that 2 American soldiers were identified from the 55 sets of remains exhumed and repatriated by the DPRK. This must have caused both joy and pain to the praying and grieving families. I pray that the forensic experts will identify the remaining KIA brothers from the Korean war.

NBC News is reporting that the President is very excited about DPRK's commitment to dismantle its nuke testing facilities (which can be verified by external experts). Remains of fallen soldiers KIA will continue being returned home. Although, this is a solid step forward it's unclear as to how DPRK's vast nuclear arsenal will be verified, let alone dismantled. Praying for peace in our time, so that all those fallen heroes wouldn't have died in vain.

The President has tweeted that the following two US servicemen's remains have been identified from the 50 sets of remains repatriated by the DPRK:

1) Army Master Sergeant Charles H McDaniel, Vernon, Indiana

2) Army Private First Class William H Jones, Nash County, North Carolina.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has made progress over the weekend in his talks with both South Korea and the DPRK. Fox News is also reporting that SOS Pompeo declared that the DPRK would be allowing international inspectors to check on the progress of dismantling their missile launch facilities. Peace on the Korean peninsula would answer a lot of prayers .

CNBC is reporting that the US and South Korea have suspended scheduled air defense drills as a goodwill gesture towards the DPRK. Sounds good.
