Do you believe Daniel 9:27 below represents Daniels "Abomination Of Desolation" as seen in Matthew 24:15, Mark 13:14?

If yes, when do you believe this has or will be fulfilled, "After Jesus Spoke These Words"?

If yes, I believe you have one of two choices?

1.) 66-70AD Roman destruction of Jerusalem?

Or

2.) A future event unfulfilled?

If you choose the preterist 66-70AD fulfillment, then we argue that Matthew 24:29-31 shows the "Second Advent" taking place.

"Immediately After The Tribulation Of Those Days"

"They Shall See The Son Of Man Coming"

Matthew 24:21 The Great Tribulation Of Those Days.

We know the "Second Advent" is a future event.

This Put's the Abomination Of Desolation, Great Tribulation, and "Second Advent" As Future Events.

Daniel 9:27 below is a future event, unfulfilled.

Daniel 9:27KJV
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

elieve Daniel 9:27 below represents Daniels "Abomination Of Desolation" as seen in Matthew 24:15, Mark 13:14?

The word "Abomination" is not found in Daniel chapter 9.

If you want to understand the "Abomination of Desolation" do some research on John 10:22 and Hanukkah.

Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

The second temple was destroyed by the Romans during 70 AD.

The second temple was destroyed by the Romans during 70 AD.
There has never been an image placed in the temple that comes to life and speaks.

Revelation 13:
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

So that means the Revelation 13 isn't talking about the same thing that Daniel 9 is.

Hank, I assume you are talking about Daniel 9:27 ? Yes, it is the same thing. But what is not the same thing regarding Daniel 9:27 is any image placed in the temple in past history.

The Abomination of Desolation hasn't taken place yet. There is similitude to Antiochus having placed an image of Zeus in the temple.

I do choose 70 AD and no Matt. 24:29-31 is not talking about the 'Second Advent'. The Second Advent hasn't happened yet.

I don't agree.
That's fine, Hank. There are a lot of people who don't agree with me on a broad range of subjects.

You don't believe Matthew 24:15, Mark 13:14, represents the verse in Daniel seen below?

Do you believe the second advent is seen in Matthew 24:29-31?

Do you believe the verse below has been fulfilled, if so when and how?

Daniel 9:27KJV
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

From the 1599 Geneva Bible, which is the Bible the Pilgrims brought to America.

Dan 9:27 And he shal confirme the couenant with many for one weeke: and in the middes of the weeke he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the ouerspreading of the abominations, he shall make it desolate, euen vntill the consummation determined shalbe powred vpon the desolate.

Daniel 9:27

And he (a) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to (b) cease, (c) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

(a) By the preaching of the Gospel he affirmed his promise, first to the Jews, and after to the Gentiles.

(b) Christ accomplished this by his death and resurrection.

(c) Meaning that Jerusalem and the sanctuary would be utterly destroyed because of their rebellion against God, and their idolatry: or as some read, that the plague will be so great, that they will all be astonished at them.

"Do you believe the verse below has been fulfilled, if so when and how?

I did answer the question above, because my viewpoint is the same as the one found below.

(C) Jerusalem/Sanctuary Destroyed 66-70 AD fulfillment?

So if this is you position state it openly.

If so, what you gonna do with Matthew 24:29-31?

Do you deny the second advent is seen?

"Immediately After The Tribulation Of Those Day"s"?

"They Shall See The Son Of Man Coming"?

Will you believe in literal Roman armies, literal temple destroyed?

And Deny Literal Human Eyes, See A Literal "Second Advent"?

We have already been through this before, but I will be glad to do so again.

The text below is the future Second Coming of Christ, and is the same as Luke 21:24b-28.
It occurs when the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luk 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
Luk 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

Rom 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

We agree exactly on this.

Do you believe Matthew 24:15 & Matthew 24:21 "Abomination Of Desolation and Great Tribulation are fulfilled or future?

please explain, I don't recall your position?

is yes explain

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days"

"They shall see the Son of Man"?

The second advent, abomination of desolation, and great trib are inseparable here?

must be a future event?
