The word devil obviously comes from evil.

I read in a cat magazine cats prefer to kill rodents and rabbits instead of birds (a controversial idea) since they can't fly. The same is true for us: we can't get away from a hungry lion on the chase while living in a world of sin on our own. We depend on God to stay away from Satan.

Psalms 10:10 His victims are crushed, they collapse; they fall under his strength.

Although death has been defeated, we are still sinners who struggle to avoid being bitten by a lion.

Psalms 10:11 He says to himself, "God will never notice; he covers his face and never sees."

Obviously God notices everything. Liars say otherwise. But as Christians, do we ever fall into this trap?

This seems to be totally in the wrong place because the first 11 verses are about evil people rejecting the Lord, not those who are helpless. Can you see a link between verses 1-11 and 12 in chapter 10?

It isn't in the wrong place, verse 12 is the victim's prayer. We can face the wicked, we do not face them alone.

What I am doing is not working. I need a lot of comments from a variety of Protestant Christians to make this work at all because two replies at night don't count. The lack of interest is very frustrating. So I won't do this anymore without having it stickied in the Theology>Christian Scripture>Bible Study>Verse section of CF. I hope that will get enough attention from more diverse Christians by the end of October.
