Good morning my dear friends in Christ!

And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.” - I Kings 22:41

If the old adage is true, “To err is human...”, then Judah’s fourth king was not only holy, he was also human. Jehoshaphat was holy in that during his twenty-five-year reign, he walked in the Godly ways of his father, Asa. The commands of the Lord were his guide. Jehoshaphat, without a doubt, was... #D4Ldevotion #D4L #Christian

This is a profound study, in that a bottom line for Jehoshaphat, was that he disobeyed the living God and allowed an outright abomination to occur when he embraced an abominable union between anything having to do with Ahab.

He did NOT have an "un-divided" heart for God, for it would've never occurred if he did. He welcomed idolatry and all kinds of abominations with open arms, and through his own son.

    What WAS he thinking??!!

Thank you for this eye-opening and riveting study and warning and meditation on this warming and sunny Monday morning in May, brother.

    God bless you.

A good morning to you Brinny. Like many today, he was not thinking, just doing what he wanted. Hope you have a blessed Monday!

Thank you. He did not "fear God". I suspect he "feared man", in particular Ahab, and did such an abominable thing to "keep peace".

    Tragic.

A very blessed Monday to you as well. Howz the weather there? :)
