The fact that Bernice knew about the living God and STILL rejected Him, and in addition heard Paul's gospel message, and rejected it as well is doubly tragic.

She, as it were, threw absolute treasures into a dung heap, so to speak, including any hope for herself. How tragic to be so stiff-necked. The verse below comes to mind.

Thank you for this sobering and staunch reminder to heed what the living God, and any of His messengers say, on this breezy and sunny Friday morning in May, brother.

"He (or she), that being often reproved hardeneth his (or her) neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy." ~Pr 29:1
