Hello, I have a spiritual question I want to ask.

I love God. I believe Jesus is the son of the God and he is my savior and he loves me unconditionally and his love never fails and he knows what is the best for me and he works at the best timing, even if I do not know.

i know all of that - in my head.
So this is what is going on in my life

1) Not get what I want
2) Pray about it (A LOT)
3) Still not given to me
4) Think I have sinned
5) Remember God loves me and Jesus died to cleanse my sin
6) Repent
7) wondering why I didn't get what I want
8) Think it is not part of the God's awesome plan for me
9) If it is not part of the God's plan and even if I pray about it, nothing is going to happen, then why I pray?
10) Remember the verses in the Bible - "Ask, you shall get it"
11) Wondering why I didn't get it.
12) Think it wasn't probably the right time for me to have it
13) But the opportunity has passed. (Mostly regarding school admissions. Once you didn't get in, you would go to another school (transfer is not an option for me since I am talking about a professional graduate program)
14) Wondering again why I didn't get it
15) Is the bible verse not true?
16) Think I shouldn't doubt the bible
17) Then why? why why why I didn't get it?
18) Think I sinned (and go back to step 4)

I know if I didn't get something, it means it wasn't good for me.
I know he must be protecting me from something bad
I know what he gives me is the best

But how can I get out from that cycle of doubts and disappointment?

Please share with me what you do when this happens?

The Lord knows what is best for you and will lead you there. Enjoy the ride but make sure you are doing things his way.

Once a poor worker dreamed of making a good income and buy a car, thru many years he finally made it, the bad thing was .......if only he knew what would happen to him with that car he wouldnt want to have it !

Look at the story of Lazarus and the rich man, Lazarus was a poor beggar but He has served God's purpose out of his poverty, thats what God wants is total surrender to God's plan in our life.

Only the power of the Holy Spirit can break the chain of doubt and unbelief. God bless HRDJ :).

If I told you to go to the car dealership in my name and ask for a Camry and you went there and asked for a highlander in my name would that be ok? Jesus's name is not like a gift card, think of it like "for the sake of my kingdom". It's as if Jesus Himself was asking the father for it. It just wouldn't be appropriate to ask for a xbox in Jesus name. (I don't know what you are asking for so I'm just making up examples)

Read the story of Hezekiah. He was going to die and God prolonged his life. He showed Babylon all of his treasures and so sowed the seed of the Babylonian captivity. Even so it was Israels betrayal of God that watered the seed and allowed it to grow.

I have been physically healed from one thing and not another. I have had prayers answered only after years of daily prayer, and others immediately. I do not know what goes on in the heavenly realm. Daniel prayed to God and the Angel delivering his answer was bound in Persia for 21 days. (Daniel 10) There are just so many things at play.

[for me anyway] you are not speaking of the true biblical Jesus Christ, but another Jesus, either of your own making, or the making of someone that deceived you.
The true Jesus is not interested in what you can get, or what He can get for you, as if He were your servant: Nay rather He is interested in the condition of our heart, that we repent ourselves of our own will, and submit to and rely upon His Word, which by the way is only from where faith comes. The true real Jesus telly us plainly that if any will follow him, that we must deny ourselves: but you want the opposite, that you want to consume upon your lusts.
Beside this the true Jesus is a Lord and not just a Savior: and we cannot have one without the other! A Lord is one that is to be obeyed, and not the other way around as you would have it. If He is not your Lord, then neither is He your Savior; that's how it is with the true Jesus Christ.

I feel you! I'm fighting this fight as well sometimes. To me these doubts/thoughts starts nagging in my head when I put something (for the moment) higher/more in focus than Jesus. I focus on something without having him close and letting him guide me. It's a bit hard to explain. I deny myself hard when this happens: read the bible, pray and talk to God in an honest way. Think about it: He knows all your thoughts so you can be transparent with Him no matter what, be honest with what you feel and realize that God is the creator of the universe, he is that great.

Be still and know that God has a plan for you - it's all in his timing.

And also remember: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Think about this poem by C. T. Studd says:

Two little lines I heard one day,
Traveling along life’s busy way;
Bringing conviction to my heart,
And from my mind would not depart;
Only one life, twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one,
Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in ‘that day’ my Lord to meet,
And stand before His Judgement seat;
Only one life,’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, the still small voice,
Gently pleads for a better choice
Bidding me selfish aims to leave,
And to God’s holy will to cleave;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, a few brief years,
Each with its burdens, hopes, and fears;
Each with its clays I must fulfill,
living for self or in His will;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

When this bright world would tempt me sore,
When Satan would a victory score;
When self would seek to have its way,
Then help me Lord with joy to say;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Give me Father, a purpose deep,
In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e’er the strife,
Pleasing Thee in my daily life;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Oh let my love with fervor burn,
And from the world now let me turn;
Living for Thee, and Thee alone,
Bringing Thee pleasure on Thy throne;
Only one life, “twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one,
Now let me say,”Thy will be done”;
And when at last I’ll hear the call,
I know I’ll say “twas worth it all”;
Only one life,’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last. ”

— extra stanza —
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.
And when I am dying, how happy I’ll be,
If the lamp of my life has been burned out for Thee!
