footnote: drones, satellites, and airplanes are all being used in the United States nationwide by companies that sell or provide the information to whoever wants to pay the price.

Least suspicious of these is roofing companies that now use satellite photos to evaluate roofs for estimates and condition and so forth. Basically the roof (and what else?) of any address is already photographed and stored and available for purchase by licensed roofers, (and who else we might wonder) ?

More suspicious was official printouts from some cities warning (or alerting) residents that it was 'illegal' or 'not allowed' to BLOCK THE AERIAL VIEW OF THEIR YARD.
