Crush - Jennifer Paige

I came across this old 1990s hit the other day. And I was listening to it thinking I understood the song, then I began to rethink it. I was thinking the singer meant she was the one having the crush. But I think it now it should be understood the other way that she is saying it to the fella who blew her a kiss - telling him he just has a crush on her. I know people say song meanings are subjective - and people take a meaning that applies to them. I don't disagree with that, but I think some songs are intended to be understood a particular way.

It certainly does seem like that now that I listen to it again. Maybe I was overthinking it.
