This week I'm in all day meetings in a windowless room for approx 10 hours each day. Then I go home and get stuff ready for the next day.

Thing 2 had 2 mild exercise induced asthma episodes yesterday. He hasn't had an asthma attack in over 3 years. Was hoping he'd outgrown it.

We're getting back on the monitor/treat wagon...

Feeling like you are moving forward is important to keeping those things from kicking you off the cliff.

ChaosBoy has asthma when he was a baby and an infant because a severe RSV infection. Everyonce in a while he'll get a mild attack. Nothing too serious thus far.

Here's to Thing 2's quick recovery.

Thing 2 had something they called pre-asthma as an infant. Then (after over a year of doctors trying to convince a freaking FOUR year old that his need to cough was all in his head), I read about cough variant asthma and the "'cough tic" finally succumbed to asthma medicine. He had cough variant asthma attacks every October and February for all of elementary school, due to seasonal allergies. Then, it cleared up after 5th grade...which was a BAD year for his asthma.

I'm very concerned to see this stuff back.

I had these spots develop when I was about 6 months old that the doc said would go away by the time I was a year. I still have them.

Sometimes pediatricians are full of it.
