Sorry it took me so long to reply. Yes, those qoutes are from the koran, "surahs" are just their fancy name for chapter/part. Hence, sura 13:34 etc. Hadith are not really the koran, they are just a collection of mohamad's teaching, action etc.

btw, I'm no muslim expert. This all I know.

Oh, wait ... nevermind. I was thinking about the fatwa, which is the collection of the teachings by various Ulamas. Or something along those lines. I think some fatwa are integrated with the Quran ... maybe?

Or maybe that's only the Hadith ... man, it's been a long time!

yea, its been a long time for me too.

The only thing I seem to remember is that Fatwa is this really big kid who I used to play with when I was smaller.
Ulamas and Hadith are these African brothers who I always play hacky sack with, this is a while back ago.
Quran is this really nice Arabian sweet. I can see how my friend Fatwa are always intergrated with it.
