It is a shame for Republicans that this growing maelstrom didn't descend on Trump earlier. Pence could have stepped in.
He was incapable of leading our country from day 1, and while I would not be a Pence supporter, none of us would view this election as the greatest national emergency in our lifetimes had the Senate convicted him when they had the chance.
