I have had a stroke. Please pray that I have courage and a spirit of trustful surrender. Thank you for praying. God is good, all the time.
Thanks for praying, Gracia. I came home from hospital last night and am resting. At the moment the right side of my body is numb etc. I just really want to keep my perspective that suffering can be a blessing bringing us closer to Jesus. I don't have Christians around me unfortunately. Many, many, many prayers, Sarah! How are you, what is going on?
I have said a prayer for your healing. I hope you recover and are surrounded by the supports you need.I have had a stroke. Please pray that I have courage and a spirit of trustful surrender. Thank you for praying. God is good, all the time.
But you do have all of us here in the virtual world, praying for you and with open inboxes if you need to talk. I pray that God will bring Christians in the real world into your life at this time of your need.I don't have Christians around me unfortunately.

I just want to update this thread. Ten days after returning home from the ''stroke'' the other side of my body was showing the same symptoms and with those symptoms and an MRI scan the doctors were able to diagnose Multiple Sclerosis. I continue to need courage and a spirit of surrender. I know that everything is in God's hands and I just need patience and hopefully the grace to suffer well (this often eludes me!). Please pray for my husband, Theo. He is chronically sick and handicapped and now his carer (me) needs his help. So, I pray that he receives and accepts the help that he needs. Thank you for your prayers.
TY so much, Grace. This must feel devastating - this is a lot for any family to bear. You have my condolences. I wish I had more to offer. It is encouraging to see you leaning on God the Rock through this. You have my prayers, and may God heal you and your husband. May He be your Strength and Grace through this - truly.
