In a word NO. She would need more evidence that they actually knew each other. Her application would not be approved until she could produce more evidence. No one is blaming her for anything, no one is accusing her of anything. She simply does not have enough legal evidence for a legal conviction to show that he committed any sort of crime. She did not try to scratch him so that she would have some of his DNA under her finger nails.

We are having an election for governor and it is a big talking point that one of the candidates when he was attorney general he had 7,000 rape kits he did not test. There is a procedure women need to follow and if they do not do that then the are not going to have enough evidence to prove that a crime was ever commuted. This is what constitutional law is all about and the Senators more then anyone should know what the law is. The law is designed to protect us all and the law is you need evidence. It is not enough just to accuse someone.

No one is disregarding her claim. You just have to prove your case to convict someone of a crime. Even criminals have rights and people accused have rights under the law also. Right now it looks like the Senator Flakes and others are making a mockery out of the whole criminal justice system. To try to convict a person without due process of the law. This is NOT what American is all about. The liberals need to quit trying to make a mockery out of the justice system in America. We need law and order, not anarchy in America.

Who is trying to get a conviction??? No one is calling for Kavanaugh to face criminal charges for sexual abuse. What the question is, though, is he fit for the Supreme Court.

He seems to have lied about his alcohol abuse, if his classmates are telling the truth and that plus his clear right wing bias against Democrats was evident in his opening statement before the SJC.

If and it is a very BIG IF she could prove her claims THEN we would have a discussion IF he was disqualified because of that. She can not prove her claims so the conversation never goes to that question. We are two steps removed from where her testimony should disqualify him.

We know that he has an excellent record as a Judge. He has over 300 decision that no one is questioning. He has 12 decisions that were upheld by the Supreme Court. This is why as a Judge he has an A PLUS PLUS rating with the American Bar Association. As a Federal Judge he is a very outstanding individual.

The scales of justice are blind for a reason. You put all the good stuff on one side. You put Ford's claims on the other side of the Scale of Justice and clearly Kavanaugh should be appointed. Because the evidence shows he is a Judges Judge and he will do an outstanding job on the Supreme Court.

Now for me I would have appointed a women and saved Kavanaugh for the next opening. To make things a lot smoother. But my understanding was that Kennedy wanted Kavanaugh to replace him and Trump was willing to go along with that.

Her testimony alone would not disqualify him that wasn't the point. Her testimony has brought forth other claims which shed doubt on his honesty toward the SJC and that may disqualify him.
