• Welcome to Christian Forums
  1. Welcome to Christian Forums, a forum to discuss Christianity in a friendly surrounding.

Your voice is missing! You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.

We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!

  2. The forums in the Christian Congregations category are now open only to Christian members. Please review our current Faith Groups list for information on which faith groups are considered to be Christian faiths. Christian members please remember to read the Statement of Purpose threads for each forum within Christian Congregations before posting in the forum.
  3. Please note there is a new rule regarding the posting of videos. It reads, "Post a summary of the videos you post . An exception can be made for music videos.". Unless you are simply sharing music, please post a summary, or the gist, of the video you wish to share.
  4. There have been some changes in the Life Stages section involving the following forums: Roaring 20s, Terrific Thirties, Fabulous Forties, and Golden Eagles. They are changed to Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X, and Golden Eagles will have a slight change.
  5. CF Staff, Angels and Ambassadors; ask that you join us in praying for the world in this difficult time, asking our Holy Father to stop the spread of the virus, and for healing of all affected.
  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

Don't worry, you won't have to read and watch western things for much longer.

I'll never understand the mindset of those who proactively fight for abortion rights... I could at least understand someone who avoids the conversation, but... Whatevs.

Attempting to troll me somehow amuses you?

I could buy everything you own and donate
    the lot to some charity.

They probably exist. There's all kinds of people.
Like people who invent terrible slander against their
fellow citizens while wearing a cloak of righteousnes.

In that case is an unsuccessful abortion considered an abortion? A procedure took place but it failed it's goal.

Is a father oppressed when his unborn child can be killed when he wants it to live?

Abortion is the termination of a pregnancy. Whether the fetus lives or dies is a separate question. If an abortion is of a viable fetus, then by law in most jurisdictions, and by medical ethics everywhere, a serious attempt must be made to save the life of the fetus, as with a premature delivery.

A miscarriage is an abortion. A pregnancy can be terminated by birth. The term traditionally involves expulsion before viability. It seems to define the termination of a pregnancy that involves the death of unborn child. So I don't believe the word can be limited to the termination of a pregnancy. Birth is the termination of a pregnancy.

Maybe it's a threat that doesn't translate well to western culture, where both parties have to agree to a sale.

More a flick than a flex.
Of course there might be some grown-up explanation
for the emark about my home, about which I am admittedly
    a bit touchy.

With that I strongly agree. Each one of us proves, each and every day, that we need the blood of Christ if we expect to survive beyond this incredibly short life.

    Threat?
    It was a generous offer!
    Never much thought my towering
151 cm height would seriously menace
    anyone.
So I could use some western- style cultural
advice if I gotta get fierce!

    Is Sicilian culture considered Western?
Would like a BBQ squid serve in place
    of a horse head?

Regardless of one's religion, its a good sentiment.
    We all fall short.
