It's pretty sad when we're having the distinguish groups by their capitalization.

Kinda makes that whole "No Labels" group sound a better and better.

It's just to distinguish moderate conservatives from right-wing extremists.

"Now let me tell why the Crusades were great and Obama is a criminal!"

Every president commits crimes while in office, especially in violating international law. The Crusades, quite obviously if you understand the history, were a retaliation against hundreds of years of Islamic aggression against Christian countries.

I must call shenanigans on Yoder. A conservative stands for the personal liberties of all people. A Social Conservative is a religious whackadoodle who thinks a book written two thousand years ago in Greek and Aramaic should control the laws of the world.

And you are no one to speak of hateful extremism when you think the Crusades were a good thing and can't even get your Administrations correct when making an attack thread.

To be fair if you look at whats been done by both of the last presidents in office it's pretty easy to mix them up.

Christ's Kingdom isn't of this world. Let's not try to bring Christianity into our Godless horror wars.

You have to go back to Carter really, to find a president who's actually distinguishable by his actions. I think that's because under the next guy (Reagan) the presidency went into the pocket of big business and it's been the same since.

How was Carter better than Reagan?

Check it out:

Since you aren't from a country where there is a "Conservative Party" it doesn't make sense that you call yourself a little c conservative.

Every conservative in America is a small c conservative, there is no official conservative party.

You can be a small l Libertarian in the US but not a small c conservative.

The C capitalized is only capitalized because it comes at the beginning of a proper noun. Conservative however, is not a proper noun here in the US.

Note on your Wikipedia page that it references contexts of the UK and Canada where there is a Conservative Party proper.

Even still, the principle still applies. It's like when someone says, "I am catholic with a small "c".

You need to distinguish yourself from the Conservative party of Connecticut?

Nope. Just negating your comment.

Since you aren't from a country where there is a "Conservative Party" it doesn't make sense that you call yourself a little c conservative.
