It should be noted that it's not going to do him any good -- Florida only voted to restore the voting rights of ex convitcts who had completed their sentence... and even so, the rule doesn't apply for murderers or sex offenders.

Poor taste? How? He DID register to vote from jail. He DID register as a Republican. He DID vote. His vote WAS counted. He has not yet been convicted(this is still the United States of America and people still have the right to a trial) and therefore, he is NOT (yet) a felon (unlike former Sherriff Joe who IS a felon). And I am a Republican and approve this message.
