These verses in Hebrews show if we are of the household of Jesus if we believe and cling to our faith in Jesus maintaining our hope in Jesus therefore any one can be of the household of God if they surrender to Him and trust in Him then they will be able to not be moved away from Him the sinners that will not be saved when bible says if the righteous are scarcely saved where shall the sinner appear are those who did not believe the gospel and surrender while they had chance
I think Paul is saying even those who did not commit all sins who are considered righteous not many of them are saved if they are not searching the truth to accept it but how bad will be the judgement of the sinner that rejects the gospel. Or it could be saying the righteous are those who accept the gospel who repent and they are hardly saved without trials to be saved on death and any judgement on this earth so what will be the end of the sinner who rejects the gospel
1 Peter 4:17-18
17 For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 Now
“If the righteous one is scarcely saved,
Where will the ungodly and the sinner appear?”
Hebrews 3:5-6
5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all His house as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, 6 but Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end.
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
In the day of trial in the wilderness,
9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,
And saw My works forty years.
10 Therefore I was angry with that generation,
And said, ‘They always go astray in in their heart,And they have not known My ways.’
11 So I swore in My wrath,
‘They shall not enter My rest.’ ”
12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end, 15 while it is said:
“Today, if you will hear His voice,
Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.”
