Computer Gamers!!!

that first screen looks like Steam with Civ 5 installed. I can't tell what the one below it is. But I'm an avid CPU gamer too and have been for more than half my life ever since the days of Battle Chess and the original DOOM.

I'm working my way through Mass Effect 2 a second time and downloading patches for Company of Heroes. I occasionally play HoMMV and LOTRO as well.

My box is:
MSI X58 Pro
i7 920
6GB DDR3
500GB x2 WD drives striped
GTX 285 1GB
Windows 7 Pro (x64)

It's still more than adequate for me but it was pretty hot stuff when I built it over a year ago.

I don't have any pics of my system... honestly it's not all that pretty anyway. The case I use is a Codegen Briza-97, and I love because it's made for airflow:



Whenever I upgrade, I do so because I'm upgrading my recording studio. Then I simply swap out the motherboard and RAM.

Right now, this computer is running:
Win7 Professional x64
Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.83ghz
8 Gigs of OCZ RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 260
HTO Striker 7.1 Soundcard
22" Acer monitor
5.3gb of storage (Never buying a green drive again though)
DVDRW, BluRayRW optical drives

I'll eventually move the i7 with 12gigs of RAM I have in the studio over to this computer and update the viceo card. Probably do that closer to November when Elder Scrolls V comes out.

As for current games, I still play Ultima Online on a free shard, LOL, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2 when it is released in March, and just got Amnesia which has been pretty interesting thus far.
