Come, O Lord Jesus! Hope of all nations!

God of justice and peace,
from the heavens you rain down mercy and kindness,
that all on earth may stand in awe and wonder
before your marvelous deeds.
Raise our heads in expectation,
that we may yearn for the coming day of the Lord
and stand without blame before your Son, Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.​

Stir up your power, Lord Christ, and come. By your merciful protection save us from the threatening dangers of our sins, and enlighten our walk in the way of your salvation, for you live and reign with the Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.​

A blessed beginning to this Most Blessed Advent Season to you all. Let us rejoice! Christ our God shall come, and His Light shall fill the earth, and the whole earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord on that Great Day! Alleluia!
