Breaking any law is sin including breaking the dietary laws. The wages of sin is death.

Is it all about good health, or is it about the Festivals?

Even Kosher foods can become a health threat.

Its about obedience. Eve failed the dietary law test. Learn from her mistake.

It is about obedience. And people can eat what they want. The dietary laws are for the Festivals. What Festivals are you taking part in?

I realize people can eat what they want, but they can also murder if they want. They will suffer the consequences of their actions sooner or later. Those who truly love YHWH will keep His commandments
    (1 John 5:3).

There is nothing in Leviticus 11 or Deuteronomy 14 stating the dietary laws are only for festivals. YHWH does not want His people eating anything abominable EVER (Deuteronomy 14:3). "Abominable" means something our Creator YHWH deems disgusting to Him. It grosses Him out to see us eating pigs, dogs, vultures, etc., especially since we are to be holy as He is holy. We are to make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten (Leviticus 11:46-47).

I partake of all the feasts of Leviticus 23.

That is your take on it.
Pig, rat, and other unclean (tamay) flesh is NEVER EVER called "food" in the bible.

    Remember what James wrote:

    James 2:10
For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.

Where is specific about feasts and clean food? I know clean food is all the time including during feasts, but your question "is it about the festivals" has me curious.

Really. Are you going to the temple and a sacrifice is going to be made?

James 2:10 is about keeping the Mosaic laws of the old priesthood.

Kosher food is a condition for keeping the Festivals. And don't forget, it has been made against the rules here for me to show scriptures about the end of the Festivals.

That was written to New Covenant believers. And here is what Paul said about it: (also to New Covenant believers)

    Galatians 5:3
And I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law.

There is covenant and non-covenant circumcision. Those who were already under the Old Covenant were required to keep the whole law, until the destruction of the temple. At that time the Old Covenant was revoked. Then Paul began to preach that we are the temple of God, and that circumcision was no longer of any use. New converts were told not to get circumcised even before the destruction of the temple.

I never though kosher food as a condition for keeping the feasts. Kosher food with or without feasts is a physical condition for the body like the Holy Spirit is a spiritual condition for the soul. While I can see and know that eating kosher brings more harmony with the Holy Spirit, I never thought of it as a "condition" in regard to feasts. Could you be a little more in depth even if it is in a pm to me?

The non-kosher foods have an additional health risk. But let us talk about the horse --- I do not know what they were thinking, but the horse is as clean as any animal. Now a camel will eat flesh if they are hungry, that is why they were eliminated here in America. The people in those days had not the means to know if any of those animals were contaminated, not like we can know these days. It simply was too risky for the community as a whole, especially at Festival times, when everyone came together. After the Flood mankind was given permission to eat any of those animals. If the Festivals were still in effect, and if we were living by the Old Covenant; then there would still be a need to keep those laws.

That was convoluted to serve a purpose that is not of God.

That sounds pretty strange coming from a man who partakes of the Sabbath rest even though animals were sacrificed at the Temple every Sabbath.

Who is "they"? YHWH Himself told us the horse was unclean and inedible.

Lev 11:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
Lev 11:3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.

The horse does not part the hoof or chew the cud. They are as unclean as every other abomination that people eat.
