I'm a 24 year old male (won't explain anymore than that since I don't need to), and I'm looking to get on to the dating scene. Unfortunately, where I live in the UK, looking for love is a bit... well, it's like finding a microscopic needle in a haystack, so I'm looking to cast my net out over a wider area.
I'm using the eHarmony dating site (which is giving me a few problems which I won't elaborate on here), but I'm also debating using classified adverts online to look for a partner.
But I do keep wondering: you often hear so many stories about finding weirdos and very strange people responding to ads or meeting people who have flat out lied about themselves via their responses (I know the same happens on online dating websites, but we'll stick with classifieds for now), that is it really worth it for a relationship?
So to anyone who has experience with classifieds: is it worth it?
