City of Milwaukee considers banning company over KKK sticker, firearms displays
A Wisconsin construction company that employed workers who displayed a Ku Klux Klan sticker and openly brandished firearms in public last month could lose some pending contracts with Milwaukee worth nearly $1 million.
A panel of the Milwaukee Common Council on Thursday also considered permanently barring American Sewer Services from ever bidding on contracts and compelling the company's owner to testify before them. Votes on the resolutions are expected in two weeks.
