Christ's character and our characters in heaven

While on earth, Jesus had a flawless, selfless, admirable, adorable, divine character. Everyone who came into contact with Him was blessed. Anyone who seeks to imitate His character now will be all the better for it. Whatsmore, we will become like Him in the next life.

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 1 John 3:2

But will everyone only have His character in heaven? Will we not retain any of our personality from who we were on earth? If not, then will there really be no diversity at all? Will everybody just be the same? To me that sounds rather boring.

In other words, you enjoy the characters of men in the world.

I admit, sometimes I do too, but maybe we will have a difference in preference when we enter glory.

A world where everyone reflects and conforms to God is a world better than this, IMO.

We may have unique traits that are suitable for that kingdom too.

Character and personality are two different things. You are born with your personality and that never changes. If you were born agreeable, you will die agreeable. Born an extrovert, die an extrovert. Character though is something you acquire throughout life, either positive or negative which influences/modifies your personality. Think fruit of the Spirit for character traits. Obviously these are positive but you can develop the opposite character traits too.
