Christianity and Me ??

This may seem fairly "Random" after my other posts, as lots of people here already seem to have a bad taste for me. But I am here, on these sites, for a reason. I am here to find a path in faith.

I am not, nor do I claim to be Christian. That is one of the most common misconceptions that has been brought up in my postings. I read the bible, I was raised Christian, but I am not currently Christian.

I would like to find God, I would like to grow in my faith and learn to Love God and Jesus and live a life they would both aprove of and appreciate. However, I am learning, treading lightly, and still being me.

I have made some mistakes in my life before my decision to try and find the Lord, and I continue to make these mistakes for now. That's not to say it won't change. Not to say it will. Just that I am struggling and finding out who I am  and where I want to be.

How about being where God wants you to be, in the loving arms of Jesus. There's a reason you're seeking Him, It's because you already know where you belong.

About who you are, God will make you who he wants you to be. And there's nothing better than that. His love is most amazing. God loves you and has plans for you.

Isaiah 1:18

Thank you for your response; however if it were only that simple!
I am searching for my faith; trying to find what is right and what is wrong. I know that I don't agree with a lot of things, and to me, I need to feel comfortable, and I do not feel comfortable in a place (life) where so many are so quick to judge.

We have only one judge we need to worry about, and that is God.

As far as faith goes

Romans 10:17
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

1 Corinthians 2:5
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

It's all about a personal relationship with Jesus. Keep reading your bible and pray for understanding. God will send you the Holy Spirit to teach and guide you if you ask him to.


Luke 11:9-13
And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

I'm a Christian but I have some questions aswell..
I believe God cares and He'll not let us down, keep knocking at His door, talk to Him, trust Him...
I believe He's perfect & awesome though I tend to 'forget'/ 'not know' recenlty...
