I'm not trying to be a troll,
but the US is a Christian Nation. the vast majority of us to include the members in the military and our politicians are Christian and we are addicted to war. We've been in a perpetual war since 1941 and we spend more on our military than the next 10 countries combined.
So how do you resolve that with "Christianity never forces anything"?
Serious question, no snark.
Christianity = faith, hope and trust in Jesus as Savior. It is devoid of religious structure. It is not a political subdivision. It has zero to do with war. Christians at war is an oxymoron. Christians are the Body of Christ. We get dragged into war because of the failure of our culture to embrace His Way to Peace.
We were a nation with Christianity at our core, but no more. Now we are bouncing around in all the attributes of sin described and defined in God's Word. One only has to watch sinful TV, learn what our children are taught about sex in public schools, learn what our Supreme Court et al is ruling with same-sex marriage, homosexuality, abortion, noting the number of places of assembly for Christians is dwindling, attendance at rock bottom, preachers heralding a "new" revelation, the cults, the word-faith movement, the cesspool in Washington, D.C., and around the world.
The military leadership in the USA has changed the uniform of the Air Force and Army on a regular basis, at the expense of the tax payer, who has no voice. Who are those who do this? Christians, observing devotion to our Savior? Hardly. Who are they trying to impress? Christianity? Hardly. Various organizations crying out for $$$$ to support our veterans, are they "Christian?" Do they support "Christian" military retirees, those hospitalized by the VA because they are Christian?
The world abounds in Christian charities. One can order about a a million books from online preachers. What has happened to the Bible? 50 translations? How many denominations? Do they all "get it right?" Is that a reflection of Christianity?
Is promoting Christianity "grievously unfair" if we don't promote ALL non-Christian outreach? ACLU? (check out the lawsuits) Nancy Pelosi? Chuck Schumer? (check out the presentations of these misguided politicians). Are we to permit a Muslim to swear allegiance to the USA on the Quran? (Yes, it happened). How close are we to Sharia Law in the USA? (Yes, it has been tried in a federal Court).
A "Christian" does not equal a citizen of the United States, although that was once the intention. A citizen is a citizen is a citizen, even though that identity is rapidly disappearing in favor of illegals and sanctuary cities. By 2040 the caucasian race will have disappeared, or be a miserable minority.
We are the Body of Christ, representing only Him in each of our daily lives, coming together to worship and to praise, not to support ANYTHING political, military, "feel good," or a deceived so-called Christian organization which supports, administratively or even from the pulpit, any or all of those sins our God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit lead us away from ---- Let the ONE who died for us have HIS WAY, not organized systems of any kind. That includes "religion."
